Our private Canoe Island, located ¾ mile off-shore from
our main Lake George resort, is a special treasure. While the island is a quiet getaway, we also have the beach on the mainland as well as many activities for the whole family. For your convenience, our private resort shuttle boats make scheduled trips back and forth to and from the island to your Lake George lodging.

Canoe Island Lodge is a full-service Lake George resort on the shores of the most beautiful lake in the Adirondacks. Our waterfront location is ideal for a lovely Adirondack waterfront wedding, a family vacation, Lake George meeting, conference or romantic getaway! We have been hosting families and friends since 1946, making us one of the oldest Lake George family resorts.

Canoe waterskiing offers waterskiing and wakeboarding on Ski-Nautique boats with a qualified staff to teach or refresh your skills.

Activities include tennis, basketball, volleyball and more!

We have two har-tru tennis courts as well as a basketball court, sand volleyball court and the usual ping pong, shuffleboard and children’s activities.

In the summer our Lake George lodging rates include Breakfast and Dinner - our Chef and Baker offer an array of delicious meals and baked goods, and you never need to wait for your table in the dining room. We also have a casual deck luncheon restaurant, perfect for a quick meal between activities. Our fantastic chicken barbecues are a weekly favorite in the summer as well as an Island camp breakfast for those who choose to enjoy the early morning trip.
