Tavern
Please note that our Lake George resort tavern is open daily for cocktails. If there is a selection that you prefer that we do not carry, please let us know and we will try to have it in stock for your enjoyment. We do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol onto the resort.
Pets
We are sorry that we cannot accept pets at the lodge. We do have a list of kennels in our area and can offer recommendations for your extended family members.
CIL Reservation Policy
To our returning members and guests, we want to give you the opportunity to request your previous year’s accommodations before we accept new reservations. You will be given first refusal on the room you had the previous season for the same time period. Please confirm your reservation with a deposit before the indicated date, which will be sent out to all previous guests, in order to ensure your reservation. If we do not hear from you we will assume your plans have changed and will release the space to others who are requesting availability. If we have already received your deposit but we are working with you for an accommodation or date change, we will be contacting you to confirm your request.
A deposit of 500 USD per night per room including tax will be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged 60 days prior to arrival. If reserving within 60 days of arrival, 100% including tax and service will be charged.
Smoking
As most of you are aware, New York State has restricted smoking in public areas. Because we have so many guests asking for non-smoking rooms at our Lake George resort, we request that all our guest’s rooms remain smoke-free.

Canoe Island Lodge is an assumed name for Canoe Island Lodge Lake George, LLC, which leases the property from Canoe Island Lodge Lake George LLC and affiliated businesses. Thus, (hereinafter the three referenced LLCs shall be referred to as the “Companies”). Participation and activities through Canoe Island Lodge and the Companies are potentially dangerous, so as a condition of being a guest at Canoe Island Lodge, each guest represents and warrants for himself and/or herself and all of their dependents and visitors that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in any and all activities or events offered by or through Canoe Island Lodge and the Companies. Moreover, each guest, for himself and/or herself and all their dependents and visitors, assumes all risks, including risks which are not specifically foreseeable, of any injuries, damages, or loss, including death, which they or their dependents or their visitors may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected to or associated with Canoe Island Lodge and the Companies. At check-in, guests are required to sign an assumption of risk and waiver of liability forms.
